Father in-law Update

So he’s home. He came home on hospice. I can’t even remember dates or what I’ve already wrote. Everything kinda just blends.

Anyway, he’s home.

When he came home we were told today to anytime. And when he came home he was a bit better than before he left the hospital. Which gave me hope.

He has had good days and bad days.

Mothers day was a bad day. He then continued having a few bad days in a row and this past Tuesday , so about 4 days ago he got really really bad. All three of his children came. Everyone was crying. It was just them. I let them just be because I did show up to see my husband. I had to grab some milk money from him. Anyways he told me kind of what was going on because I had no idea. I later found out that it was a very very bad day. The worst day he’s had yet. Then he turned around the next day and he seems to be improving. A little bit more each day. He even went for a ride with his daughter in with the top down. Then the next day after that went with his son (my husband). They turned in all the pop cans because my father-in-law collects pop cans and he had a ton and he wanted to give the money he got to my daughter, which is his granddaughter for her Washington DC 8th grade trip. Which she is going on Monday morning. We have to have her at her school at 5:30 a.m. nice right? Yes.

Anyways, so then he had some good days in a row right. So he went to the recycling center, then my husband went and got his fishing license and I guess my father-in-law was walking around the store while they were there. So he’s had some real good days lately. Sitting up on the porch and living life. Which I’m loving!

I saw him even today sitting on the porch. Just having a good day. I guess he can’t take anybody Mowing and cutting grass though because he had to go put the whole oxygen mask on after 30 seconds of being outside with the neighbor mowing. So we learned that today.

He went on another ride with his daughter today with the top down again. They went to meet the other daughter to get the donuts the other daughter had got him from a place I don’t know. Lol

Anyways yes, so he is having better days. of course on oxygen he can’t do too much and can’t talk too much either. Walks super slow as well. Everything just takes everything out of him but it just makes me so hopeful.

Also a lot of emotional type things have been happening. His kids had to go set things up for the end which was super emotional. There’s really nothing you can say about that but he’s doing so much better and I feel so much better. I love this man. He is the best man I’ve ever met in my life. He really truly is a great father, husband, son, grandfather, and father-in-law. He’s the best father I’ve ever had.

Let’s please keep praying. Please keep us in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you! Love you all!

Best father in-law

So yes, I do have the world’s best father in-law ever!

He’s been the best father anyone could ever ask for!

My heart is broken right now because he is very very sick. I hope my children realize what happens when you smoke.

This will be the most devastating thing they have ever gone through. The worst thing my husband will ever incounter. So hard on all of us who love him.

He was just put on hospice…

Yeah my past week has been one hell of a week. Yesterday is when we actually got the worst news ever. He was givin a day to anytime or he could be with us a few more months. His time is completely unknown at this point. He has good periods but then some very bad ones. Please pray for my father in-law and my family.

My calves ….

Ouch, ouch,ouch….

Man-o-mighty…😦

Yet again…

My right calves hurts so bad. One long cramp. Stuck in place for so freaking long. Others join in as pop out assassin but the one. Man. All of them.. ouch!! The pain is musty stuck there forever. I’ve done all my tricks and now I’m actually REALLY tying to rest. My husband even gave me a massage.😁 He’s the best!

But yes my current situation is a wrapped calve inside my heating pad. I have my hair tie holding it around my calve. πŸ˜‰ you do what you gotta do and improvise😁 lol

Ps. I’ve went loco. Is it calve calf or ?? I don’t even know. Brain fog for sure. Haha

So, here is a real life picture of my life right now. πŸ’œπŸ’›

Peanuts

Caution of You have a weak stomach. 😡 Stop reading hereπŸš«πŸ›‡otherwise here I go…

So you know I never really thought about it until after last night’s readings and then my post, but about 2 years ago we went to Florida on a plane. ✈It was my first time ever on a plane because prior to that I had always refused… πŸ›©I’m terribly afraid of heights. I think it’s also a control issue. Not having control of my own, well anything. Then I figured you only live once. I’ll guess I’ll give it a go or at least try for the family. However I did warn them I may panic and not actually make it. But I would definitely try because we wanted to go to Florida on vacation for two weeks. 🌞 Well, I actually made it!! And if you’ve ever been on a plane you know they give you peanuts to snack on. I had forgotten all about peanuts. I haven’t had them in probably over a decade or more. I don’t even know. I honestly cannot even remember the last time I had a peanut before the Florida trip. So I got a taste for peanuts. 😁 I was like oh my Gosh, I need more. So at first it was every now and then to now I eat them pretty much nightly. My husband and I watch shows together every night. It’s so nice. Usually we will go into our bedroom about 8pm. πŸ›Sit in our bed and watch some shows together. Right now we are watching Chicago PD. πŸ“ΊWe already watched the entire season of Chicago Fire. Love them both! Anyways, I did notice that ever since I started eating these peanuts every single night that they have totally helped me be regular. Don’t mean to gross anyone out. But it’s almost like a miracle worker for me. When I ran out of my peanuts and I didn’t have them for a few days I could really tell. Actually I recently noticed this. I finally put two and two together and I was like oh my gosh I think it’s because I haven’t had any peanuts! So now I try and make sure to always be stocked up on my peanuts.

😁Well i hope this helps someoneπŸ˜‰

And I will talk to you later. Bye bye ladies and gentlemen.πŸ’œ

Leeeeggggssss

Ugh my legs. I hate them. My daughter had a Track & Field meet today, which I love watching her run but go figure with our weather. So lovely lately and today was nasty cold or chilly to most but cold to me and wet. Crap! So go figure my legs are on extra did to being out and dealing with this nasty weather while standing a lot too cheer and root our team on. My feet froze in my rain boots.πŸ˜” Note to all. Rain boots are not even close to warm. I definitely learned my lesson about that today. 🌧 next time I will double up on some good ol big warm thick socks😊

Anyway so that’s why my legs are on extra. Note – my daughter Rylie did wonderful tonight. She came in 3rd between everyone but was 1st in her own team this was in the 400 run. πŸƒIf you know what I’m talking about. I really don’t though. Lol honestly I never know what’s going on. 😁

So back to my point. So my legs are bad tonight and while skimming through my fb I found myself in one of my fibro groups where Kim does an amazing job, by the way and I found a post, courtesy of Kim about leg pain. πŸ’™ so much helpful information. Kim is great blogger here (on WordPress) which is where she shared her links from. http://itrippedoverastone.com.

Cat on a ledge

So yes that’s my cat. His name is Missou. He came home with us from our family in Missouri last summer. He will be a year old in July. He actually has blue eyes. Which if you know anything about cats. Blue eyes are super rare. Unless it’s Siamese cats.

Anyways I just wanted to come and blog a little blog blog… Yesterday, the weather here was fantastic. The day was just a dream. Perfect weather. Windows open and watching some live TV with my favorite nephew Kaegen Jaxton Kyrie. We were actually watching “A Bug’s Life” which he was really tuned into. I think he really liked that one. The ants and the bugs all talking and such. We are just sitting on the couch together watching tv we played outside all day together. The cat climbing the tree. He could only get so far and then he just stood on the broken Branch area. Which made me think of “a cat on the ledge” but it’s just been fantastic and easy going weather. The feeling was just complete comfort and it was like I was sitting there and I’m just like oh my gosh this is the life right here. Which I told Kaegan, “I’m so happy with you today and we had the best day and we have a good life.” Of course he said it back to me. It’s been wonderful so I wanted to stop in and say hey, and I hope everyone is having a nice day as well. An easy relaxed day with no pain. Talk to you later
